GrowTime is expanding its presence in North America. A serial, industrial-scale deployment of Pascal and Newton trolleys has been launched with full integration of the MycoSense Spotlight system, engineered for high-throughput operations and repeatable production environments.
What does this mean for the North America mushroom industry?
This marks the next phase of a project previously initiated in North America—now covering both trolley models and delivering complete mechanical and electronic integration with the MycoSense Spotlight. Alongside new video footage showcasing Pascal and Newton in real working conditions, the deployment confirms the solution’s readiness for production scaling.
Key Integration Highlights
The core value of the implementation lies in the bi-directional integration between GrowTime trolleys and MycoSense Spotlight:
- Shared power supply – Spotlight is powered directly from the trolley batteries, simplifying infrastructure and significantly reducing daily operational time.
- Automated motion control – trolley speed and left/right movement are dynamically controlled based on data from Spotlight.
- Context-aware operation – control logic takes into account:
- harvesting instructions programmed in device,
- real-time shelf conditions (including mushroom density),
- speed adjustments matched to the productivity of each individual picker.
These are just some of the parameters that can be managed in real time to improve harvesting consistency, operator ergonomics, and overall line efficiency.

A Scalable Solution for Modern Farms
The serial deployment of Pascal and Newton integrated with MycoSense Spotlight confirms that the GrowTime solution is production-ready for large-scale facilities—where process stability, automated operational decisions, and seamless scalability are essential.
