The self-propelled mushroom-harvesting trolley with a movable base allows for the harvesting of mushrooms from the shelves of the mushroom growing rack, including the bottom shelf. The platform movement (up-down) is effected by means of hydraulic actuators fixed in the trolley guides. Transport of the trolley around the facility takes place only on the sliding suspension with wheel sets. The electric equipment of the trolley is powered by efficient batteries.
The trolley has a comfortable seat filled with soft material. Its durability is increased thanks to a resistant cover made of waterproof material. The seat has horizontal and vertical adjustment. Thanks to this, after adjusting its position to the posture and needs of the operator, work goes faster and takes place at a lower cost of physical effort
The trolley has a fully adjustable system of shelves for the weighing scales and mushroom crates, and their proper adjustment will ensure proper work ergonomics, which will speed up the picking of mushrooms by the operator. Depending on the task to be performed, we adjust the size and geometric arrangement of the shelves to the crates / packaging used by the customer or forming a standard in his country.

The remote control allows you to control the trolley’s forward and backward, as well as up and down movement. An important element which increases work efficiency is the ability to move (forward-backward) and adjust the speed of the trolley without leaving the platform. Thanks to this construction, the operator saves time, reaching the mushrooms faster.
The trolley can be started only after logging in with the proximity chip (the function can be deactivated by the management staff).
The trolley has protection against the operator’s hand or arm getting caught in the process of manipulating the platform.
The work of the suspension and platform of the trolley are secured by double circuits of inductive sensors. Thanks to this, it is impossible to get off the right track and the stability of the entire trolley is ensured.
Two chains and solid barriers protect the operator from falling off the platform. The design of the trolley does not allow the trolley to work with the gate open in order to minimize the risk of accident due to carelessness of the operator.
The trolley has high efficiency batteries which allow him to work for up to 40 hours without interruption, and the control panel is equipped with a battery charge indicator, which informs the operator about the current degree of charge of the given battery. The batteries are charged automatically, i.e. without a need for the operator to be present. There is also no need to supervise the charging time, because the process will end automatically when the batteries are charged. The construction of the trolley allows quick access to the batteries in such a way as to facilitate the performance of maintenance work, if necessary.
The operator does not need an additional light source thanks to the built-in LED lamp which illuminates the shelf. Thanks to the lighting, the operator’s eyes do not get tired and the selection of the right mushrooms to pick is easier and faster. It is powered with safe electrical voltage from the trolley’s electrical system.
The trolley has a sensitive stopping system, thanks to which the possibility of collision with another trolley or device is eliminated and, above all, protection is ensured against hitting an inattentive worker. When entering and leaving the chambers, we are also sure that the walls of the mushroom farm and the trolley itself are safe.
A characteristic feature of the trolley’s structure is the trolley’s very low centre of gravity. Thanks to this, the trolley is extremely stable. The frame of the trolley, as well as its other supporting structure, is made of stainless steel.
The picker’s work area is corrosion-resistant and made in a way to eliminate a possibility of slipping and falling.
The wheels are made of durable anti-corrosive materials and their bands / raceways are made of polyurethane. Thanks to this they are durable and, in addition, polyurethane guarantees perfect adhesion of the wheels to the mushroom bed. What is more, the material used for construction has vibration-eliminating properties.
The trolley has two reinforced drive belts which raise the platform up and down. They are made of durable plastic and reinforced with steel filling which guarantees their very high durability. Both platform lifting straps operate independently of each other, and the safety factor exceeds the permissible load several times, which guarantees even higher safety.
The calibrator measures the diameter of mushrooms and is made of stainless steel.
The electronic components controlling the machine are placed in a stainless electric cabinet to protect them against flooding, dirt and mechanical damage. Inside the cabinet, there are also automatic rectifiers for charging batteries, batteries and other electrical elements. The electronic controller is additionally placed in an airtight box, which prevents the risk of short circuits and protects it from damage in high humidity.
The passage along the racks is conducted automatically by a system ensuring a stable driving track and contact of the guide roller with the bottom guide of the rack.
